India's second largest car maker and the biggest passenger car exporter Hyundai India has announced price hike across its model line-up, starting from Eon all the way up to Sante Fe. The price hike will be in the range of Rs 3,000 to Rs 20,000, depending on model.
Hyundai India's Senior VP of Sales and Marketing Rakesh Srivastava said that rupee depreciation and increase in raw material costs had impacted the company's overall costs. He added that the price hike would take place from August 16 and it would be in the range starting from Rs 3,000 and going up to Rs 20,000.
