UPDATE: Hyundai India has launched the Creta N Line from Rs 16.82 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai India is all set to launch the Creta N Line tomorrow on March 11, 2024. The sportier compact SUV has been unveiled in full and pre-launch bookings are underway. It will be available in two broad variants and will be offered with a turbo-petrol engine. Here are 5 things you should know ahead of its launch:

The design updates made to the Hyundai Creta N Line make it distinguishable from the standard model. Up front, the sleeker grille, combined with the redesigned bumper with red highlights give the front-end a sporty demeanour.

The splashes of red continue on to the side in the door sills and brake callipers, while you get more aggressively styled 18-inch alloys that add to the look. Topping up the look is the revised rear bumper and the dual-tip exhausts that emit out a throatier note.

On the inside, the overall dashboard layout is similar to the standard model, but this being a N Line model, gets a couple of updates. For starters, the dashboard is finished in black and you get plenty of red highlights and stitching that add a dash of contrast. This being a N Line model, you also get a bespoke steering wheel, gear knob and seat covers with ‘N’ badging, adding to the sense of occasion. Lastly, the amber coloured ambient lighting is replaced with red here.

In terms of features, the Hyundai Creta N Line’s equipment list will be identical to the standard model, which gets a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, a Bose sound system, wireless phone charger and a panoramic sunroof.

Passenger safety is taken care of by six airbags, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and most importantly, ADAS.

Underneath the hood, the Creta N Line will get the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine belting out 160 PS and 253 Nm. Apart from the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, this engine will be offered with a 6-speed manual ‘box, which will be exclusive to the N Line, catering to driving enthusiasts.
Speaking of which, you can expect a slightly stiffer suspension setup and a quicker steering rack for tighter handling as well.

The 2024 Hyundai Creta N Line is expected to have a starting price of around Rs 17.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Main reason being it’s offered with a manual gearbox in a lower variant, which isn’t the case with the standard car, which gets the turbo-petrol engine in its top-end variant. It will lock horns with the Kia Seltos GT Line, VW Taigun GT, while being a sportier alternative to the Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
