From the spy pics, there are several visual changes in the 2016 Hero Splendor Pro, including an all-new three-pod instrument panel

Hero MotoCorp is silently working on revamping the Hero Splendor Pro and latest spy pics have emerged of the 2016 model.

The 2016 Hero Splendor Pro will get several new upgrades. Visually, there’s a new headlight, new headlight cowl, revised side panels and even the fuel tank gets a new design.

Towards the rear, the taillight is also newly designed. What is of significance is an all-new instrument panel, which now gets three pods, with the speedometer sitting in the center and two smaller pods flanking it; the one on the left housing tell tale lights including a side stand indicator and one on the right displaying the fuel gauge.

We’re not sure if there will be any mechanical changes done to the 2016 Hero Splendor Pro. Visually, the head looks similar to the current engine in service, though the fuel knob now gets plastic cladding.

The current Hero Splendor Pro is powered by a four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled 97.2cc engine, which makes 7.8PS at 7500rpm and 8.94Nm of torque at 4500rpm. The engine is mated to a four-speed constant mesh transmission. The Hero Splendor Pro is currently priced at Rs 46,280 (ex-showoom).
