2026 Kawasaki Versys 1100 Launched In India: New Price But Same Bike

Kawasaki has launched the 2026 Versys 1100 in India, priced at Rs 13,89,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), a marginal increase of Rs 10,000 (including the price revision after GST 2.0) over the 2025 version. But aside from the new model-year tag, nothing else has changed. The motorcycle remains identical to the one launched in February 2025, carrying forward the same design, colour scheme, engine, and features.

Same Old Same Old

The Versys 1100 continues with its familiar Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray / Metallic Diablo Black paint option and signature adventure-touring stance. You still get the tall adjustable windscreen, negative LCD console, and the imposing design that gives it a great road presence (although we’d have liked it if it looked more different from the Versys 650).

Powering the 2026 Kawasaki Versys 1100 is the same 1,100cc inline-four engine, producing 135PS at 9,000rpm and 112Nm at 7,600rpm. The bike continues with its twin-tube aluminium frame, 43mm adjustable inverted telescopic fork, monoshock, and twin front 310mm discs with dual-channel ABS.

Features include traction control with three modes, two ride modes, cruise control, and an optional quickshifter. It also retains the large 21-litre fuel tank, fairly accessible 820mm seat height, and a hefty 257kg kerb weight.

ZigSays

While the Versys 1100 remains a well-equipped and refined sport-tourer, it’s a little disappointing that Kawasaki didn’t introduce even a new colour option for 2026. For now, it’s the same familiar tourer — just a year newer and slightly pricier. This is similar to what the brand did with the Ninja 300, but hey, at least it got some new colours and projector headlights.
