The Citroen C3 Aircross SUV, initially launched with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and manual transmission, is set to get an automatic transmission variant. If you've been eyeing one, you can now book it at Citroen’s dealerships ahead of its launch on January 29, 2024.

Details on the transmission type and trims on which it will be offered are still under wraps, but we expect Citroen to offer a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, similar to the international-spec C3 Aircross sold in Indonesia, considering the model sold there is made in India. Prices for the C3 Aircross SUV start from Rs 9.99 lakh and go up to Rs 12.77 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara, while offering an alternative to the MPVs like the Maruti Ertiga, XL6, and Kia Carens.
