Aston Martin Cars Get Rs 4 Crore Cheaper! Has India-UK FTA Blessed Us Well Enough?

Dreamt of supercars getting cheaper? That dream has come true for many, thanks to the India-UK FTA, which has brought down prices of Aston Martin cars in India. The FTA was signed mid last year, while the specifics have taken time to materialise and finally take effect for cars manufactured in the UK. 

India has 4 models on sale by Aston Martin. They Include the Vantage S Coupe and Roadster, DB12 S Coupe and Volante, Vanquish Coupe and Volante and the DBX S SUV.

Looking at the price differences, the biggest price slash has taken place for the Vanquish Volante at a whopping Rs 4.02 Crore price cut. 

Meanwhile, the model which sees the least amount of change in comparison is the Vantage S Coupe at Rs 1.84 Crore, which is still a significant amount.

Given the craze for SUVs across the automotive market, the DBX S can get a better response in sales thanks to the Rs 2.65 Crore price cut, which now stands at Rs 4.15 Crore. 

Mind you, these are base prices of the cars without upgraded options and extra features selected.

The Vanquish being at the top of Aston Martin’s food chain gets the symphonic 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 producing 835 PS and 1000 Nm of torque, which puts it among the top super GT sports cars.

Meanwhile, for the SUV enthusiasts, Aston’s DBX S brings performance, luxury and peak elegance with the familiar 4-litre twin-turbo V8 producing a vast 727 PS of power. The DBX S is among the truly regal SUVs that sit alongside the Bentley Bentayga.
