Citroen India has officially launched the C3 Aircross SUV on our shores, whose prices start from Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s the carmaker’s shot in the extremely popular compact SUV segment and brings a dash of uniqueness with its optional three-row layout. The C3 Aircross is offered with just the turbo-petrol engine and comes in three broad trims.
Here’s a look at the variant-wise prices:

You 5-seater |
Rs 9.99 lakh |
Plus 5-seater |
Rs 11.34 lakh |
Plus 7-seater |
Rs 11.69 lakh |
Max 5-seater |
Rs 11.99 lakh |
Max 7-seater |
Rs 12.34 lakh |
The Citroen C3 Aircross is the most affordable monocoque three-row SUV you can buy in the market today. You can also spruce it up by opting for the dual-tone hue in the Plus and Max trim for an extra Rs 20,000. And if you want the Vibe Pack, you have to shell out Rs 25,000 and Rs 22,000 for Plus and Max variants, respectively.
The main unique bit in the C3 Aircross is the presence of an optional third row of seats. With this in place, boot space is almost non-existent at 44 litres. However, the clever bit is that they are removable, opening up to a massive 511-litre trunk. So you can prioritize if you want to carry occupants or luggage or a mix of both in your SUV. Check out how the C3 Aircross is unique from its rivals in this report.
In terms of features, the C3 Aircross gets just the basics, including a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, manual AC, a digital driver’s display, remote locking, blower for second row occupants and electronically adjustable ORVMs.
As for safety, it gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with camera and electronic stability control.
The C3 Aircross gets just the sole 110PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, teamed with a 6-speed manual. Later down the road, you can expect an automatic transmission as well as an all-electric version of this SUV.
The new Citroen C3 Aircross locks horns with models such as Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara as well as MPVs such as Kia Carens and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. Buyers intending to take deliveries by October 31 can also take advantage of Citroen’s ‘Buy Now, Pay In 2024’ scheme, where they can pick up the car now and start paying EMIs in 2024.
