Those who pre-book now will get priority delivery

TVS is on a roll. Just two days have passed since the launch of the TVS X – its sportiest electric scooter – and the bikemaker has teased the upcoming Apache RTR 310 once again. Not just that, the pre-bookings for the streetfighter are now open as well, and customers who book now will benefit from priority delivery. Along with that, these customers stand a chance to attend the event in Thailand.

This latest teaser gives us the closest and clearest look of the Apache RTR 310 so far, revealing the aggressive and sharp design language of the bike. Interestingly, the silhouette somewhat resembles the Ducati Streetfighter, especially with that angular twin LED headlight. Even the stance of the bike is quite like a classic streetfighter, and one thing is certain – it is not just a rebadged BMW G 310 R.

Oh, and remember, the first sighting of the bike, back in July? That image leak was from this TVC video that you see above. And, honestly, it is a pretty electrifying commercial. The teaser also shows glimpses of the aluminium swingarm, exposed trellis frame, lever guards, contoured seat setup (almost like that of a stunt-spec bike), side-slung exhaust (looks like a performance unit), premium gold-finished USD fork, and redesigned alloy wheels.

Apart from that, the last teaser gave us a sneak peek at the sporty rear of the bike, which you can check out here.

By now, we already know a bunch of details about the streetfighter, thanks to the recent spy shots. It gets adjustable levers, single-piece handlebar, rear-set footpegs and a slightly sporty riding stance.

It will be powered by the same engine as the Apache RR 310, BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS – a 312.7cc reverse inclined single-cylinder engine that produces 34PS and 27.3Nm in the Apache RR 310. However, expect TVS to retune the engine to fit the Apache RTR 310’s streetfighter character. Moreover, it’ll likely have the same four riding modes – Track, Urban, Rain, and Sport – as the Apache RR 310.

Slated to launch on September 6, the Apache RTR 310 is expected to command a price tag of Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom) and will rival the KTM 390 Duke, Triumph Speed 400, BMW G 310 R, Keeway K300N and the Honda CB300R.
