Ultraviolette has launched the F77 Space Edition in India. And India’s fastest electric bike is back at an eye-watering price of Rs 5.6 lakh (ex-showroom India). That way it manages to beat the Kawasaki Ninja 400 in terms of overpriced supersports. So why would you buy it? The exclusivity! The bike’s production is limited to just 10 units and that means that you’ll be sharing this stage with just nine other people! If that’s your thing, there’s nothing quite as exclusive as this bike at this price point.

What the F77 Space Edition packs is custom machined aerospace grade aluminium components and it does look quite striking. This launch comes two days before the Chandrayaan 3 Moon landing and is in a way, Ultraviolette’s tribute to India's impressive journey in outer space R&D and the significant role ISRO has played in the field of aerospace.

The Space Edition is essentially the Limited trim but in fancier clothing. So it packs a 30.2kW motor that puts out 100Nm. The 10.3kWh battery pack, meanwhile, promises a 307km range. Interestingly, the Limited trim was sold out in just two hours of the booking site going live. Bookings for the bike will open on August 2 at 6pm on Ultraviolette’s official website.
