Scrambler 900 Goes Wild

The Triumph Scrambler 900 leads the update list with more meaningful changes this year. It gets a revised chassis, Showa suspension (an inverted telescopic fork), and radially mounted front brake to improve control both on and off the road. Lightweight aluminium wheels, lean-sensitive cornering ABS, and traction control add a new layer of safety. At the same time, a modern instrument console (same as the Trident 660), full LED lighting, and better connectivity options bring it closer to today’s rider expectations.

Larger tanks and better comfort for the Bonneville Bobber and Speedmaster

The Triumph Bonneville Bobber and Speedmaster also receive their share of functional and aesthetic updates. Both bikes now feature larger 14-litre fuel tanks, a much-needed practical update over the earlier 12-litre ones, and revised bodywork that lends a more muscular look. The Bobber gets a wider and better-padded floating seat, while the Speedmaster gains broader seats for rider and pillion, along with straighter handlebars for a more relaxed riding position.

Triumph has also added cruise control as standard, and new aluminium rims should make these heavyweights a bit easier to handle. For the first time, A2 licence restrictor kits will be offered Europe, making the modern classics accessible to newer riders, though this feature isn’t relevant to Indian licence norms where money speaks louder than skills.

Upgraded Bonneville Roadsters

All models in Triumph’s Bonneville range, including the T100, T120, and T120 Black, now get lean-sensitive cornering ABS and traction control, cruise control (standard on the T120, optional on the T100), USB-C charging, and LED lighting with DRLs. These updates now make the Triumph’s Bonneville range more modern without losing their signature old-school look.

On the design front, Triumph has kept things classy. It gets new paint schemes and a reworked circular side-panel graphic that subtly freshens up the iconic Bonneville silhouette.

ZigSays

Triumph’s 2026 updates to its modern classic range focus on small yet meaningful updates rather than big changes. The Scrambler 900 now should feel more in line with modern-day motorcycles to its updated hardware and feature set, while the Bobber and Speedmaster benefit from small but extremely practical tweaks that should improve comfort and riding range. Also, Triumph is one of the few brands which has almost its full portfolio of motorcycles on sale in India, so expect the updated line to reach our shores soon - possibly by the end of this year or early next year.
