Top 5 Upcoming Sporty Bikes And Scooter Launches In July 2025

The month of July is upon us, and it holds quite a few surprises for enthusiasts who are looking to get a new performance-oriented set of wheels - be it a scooter or a motorcycle. Here are the top 5 sporty two-wheelers expected to launch in July 2025: 

Aprilia SR 175

Aprilia SR 175

The Aprilia SR 175 will be the SR 160’s updated version. As the name suggests, it will get a larger 175cc engine, which is expected to make around 1-2PS more than the current 11PS, and 1-2Nm more than 11.6Nm on the SR 160. The scooter has arrived at the dealerships, and apart from the larger engine, it also gets more features. The addition of a new TFT console inspired by the Aprilia RS 457, has been spotted on the SR 175, along with new switches to navigate through the new console. Expect a price hike of around Rs 5,000 over the current price tag of Rs 1,31,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). 

Updated Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z

Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is the most affordable 400cc bike you can get your hands on in India. Currently priced at Rs 1,85,568 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the bike is an excellent value-for-money proposition. That said, you can’t have your cake and eat it as well, as the flagship Pulsar does have a few downsides. However, Bajaj seems to be cooking (baking?) hard, and has updated the NS400Z with stickier tyres, better brakes and a retuned, more powerful engine. While the bike has reached the dealerships, Bajaj has yet to officially launch the motorcycle in India. Expect a price hike of around Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 over the current price, and even then it will still offer fantastic value for money.

Bajaj Auto recently filed a homologation document hinting that the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 will get new wheels as standard. The bike shares the same underpinnings as the KTM 390 Duke but in a more mellow, neo-retro avatar, and comes with 17-inch tubed spoked wheels as standard. The tubed wheels make it susceptible to punctures. When the bike was first launched, the only thing we wished it had was either tubeless spoked wheels or alloy wheels, and it looks like our prayers have been answered in full. Both spoke and alloy wheels have been homologated, so expect the updated version to get alloy wheels as standard and tubeless spoked wheels available as an accessory, while commanding a premium over the alloy-wheeled variant. 

KTM 390 Adventure X Plus

A few months back, KTM launched the 2025 390 Adventure range in India, and the bike is available in two variants: 390 Adventure S and 390 Adventure X. The former is more expensive and gets more features. But what KTM failed to realise was that the 390 Adventure X, with the 19/17-inch alloy wheels setup, is actually the better tourer of the two, despite the lack of fancy electronic features. This is exactly what KTM plans to add in the upcoming, updated version of the 390 Adventure X, dubbed the ‘KTM 390 Adventure X Plus’. We expect the bike to get riding modes, cornering ABS & traction control and cruise control as standard. Expect a price hike of around Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 over the outgoing version.

2025 Triumph Trident 660

Triumph India recently teased the 2025 Trident 660 on its social media handles, and the updated bike is expected to be launched in India this month itself. The Trident has always been a capable bike with its light and agile handling characteristics, and its soulful inline-three engine. But what it lacked was the amount of features it came with. The updated model promises to change that with the addition of new features such as cruise control, a new ‘Sport’ riding mode, cornering ABS and cornering traction control. The bike will also get features which were previously available as an accessory as standard - smartphone connectivity and a bidirectional quickshifter. But the best part of the update is that the bike is expected to cost the same as the 2024 version, which is priced at Rs 8,12,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
