Here’s all the exciting two-wheelers news which took place throughout the week. The list includes some exciting new launches, prices being reduced and much more!

2025 Vespa Scooter Range Launched In India 

Vespa has launched the 2025 scooter range in India which includes the Vespa, Vespa S and the Vespa Qala Special Edition. The scooters are available in both 125cc and 150cc engine capacities, and have now been updated to meet the OBD-2B emission norms. The scooters also get a tech variant which comes with a TFT display which supports smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth, and allows for turn-by-turn navigation, call & SMS alerts, and music control. 

Updated Simple One E-Scooter Launched In India

Simple Energy has launched the new Gen 1.5 Simple One electric scooter in India. It is priced at Rs 1,66,000 (ex-showroom Bengaluru) and it still costs the same as the Simple One Gen 1. The scooter comes with an IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) claimed range of 248km and has new features such as auto-brightness adjustable TFT display, geofencing, park-assist and a USB charging port. 

2025 Honda NX200 Launched In India

 

Honda has launched the 2025 NX200 in India. It replaces the CB200X in Honda’s lineup. It is priced at Rs 1,68,499 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is Rs 17,049 more expensive than the CB200X. The NX200 gets an OBD-2B compliant engine, a new TFT display, switchable traction control, dual-channel ABS and a USB-C charging port. 

KTM 390 Duke Prices Dropped

KTM 390 Duke’s prices have been dropped in India by Rs 18,000 on the ex-showroom amount. The bike was earlier priced at Rs 3,13,000 but after the discount, it falls just below the Rs 3 lakh mark. The bike has remained mechanically unchanged. 

2025 Honda Shine 125 Launched In India 

Honda has launched the 2025 Shine 125 in India. The bike gets new colour schemes, an OBD-2B complaint engine and new features. Prices start from Rs 84,493 up to Rs 87,251 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new features it gets are a digital instrument cluster and an engine stop/start features which Honda claims will increase the overall fuel efficiency of the motorcycle.
