Skoda Kushaq Gets More Expensive!

The SUV now retails from Rs 11.29 lakh lakh to Rs 18.79 lakh

Price hike ranges from Rs 5,000 to Rs 70,000 depending upon the variant chosen.
Skoda recently added a mid-spec Ambition Classic variant to the SUV's range.
A new top-spec Monte Carlo variant will be introduced on May 9.

Barely a week after Skoda India introduced the second-to-base Ambition Classic variant for the Kushaq, the carmaker has decided to increase the SUV’s price. The price hike affects all variants except the recently launched Ambition Classic variant.

The price increment on the Kushaq ranges from Rs 4,000 to Rs 70,000 depending on the variant chosen. It now retails from Rs 11.29 lakh to Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

That’s not all for the Skoda Kushaq, as the carmaker will be bringing in a new top-spec Monte Carlo variant. It’s been spotted recently at dealerships, showcasing cosmetic and feature enhancements which you can check out right here. According to our sources the Monte Carlo will come with both 1-litre and 1.5-litre TSI engine options.

Select dealers have also commenced unofficial bookings for the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo. Expect the new top-spec Kushaq variant to retail at a price premium of up to Rs 50,000 over the top-spec Style grade considering the enhancements on board. This should improve the Kushaq’s standing against rivals such as the MG Astor, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, MG Hector, Renault Duster, and Volkswagen Taigun.
