With the new Skoda Kushaq facelift now unveiled, we know that it gets extensive updates in the form of heavily reworked styling, a new transmission and a lot of new features as well! But, while we are at it, here is a list of the Top 5 features that we are seeing for the first time on the Kushaq:
Starting off from the crowd-favourite panoramic sunroof, which makes its debut on the Kushaq with this facelift, and replaces the single-pane unit offered previously. While not the most useful feature in our conditions, it sure helps improve the cabin ambience by letting in a lot of light and making the interior feel bright and airy at all times.

Skoda has also added an upgraded digital instrument cluster which now spans 10.25-inches and replaces the 8-inch unit offered before. It now offers a better view, with sharper graphics and a more user-friendly layout. While not a convenience feature per-se, it still takes up the premium quotient of the interior by a big margin.

Probably the biggest feature highlight of the new Kushaq comes in the form of rear massaging seats, which is a feature usually only seen in high-end luxury cars! This feature, which will be particularly useful for chauffeur-driven buyers, truly takes things up a notch by adding to the comfort and luxury in one go.

A boon for new drivers, as well as a major convenience addition, the front parking sensors offer easier judgement and more confidence while driving around in our tightly-packed and chaotic road conditions.

With great power comes great responsibility and to contain the 150 mighty horses under the hood, the Kushaq now gets more stopping power in the form of disc brakes all around in variants configured with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol TSI engine making its already strong safety credentials even stronger.

These new features will go a long way in making the Kushaq an attractive option in the compact SUV segment once again, and paired with the reworked styling and competent powertrains, it is now a lot more competitive. However, all will depend on the pricing which is expected to be revealed soon.
