Features that enhance safety, such as rain-sensing wipers, are also available from the mid-spec Signature variant. The sunroof was earlier available from the Sportline variant onwards, but can now be had with the Signature variant, making it slightly more affordable.
The Kushaq comes with a 5-year or 1.25 lakh km warranty, whichever comes first.
As mentioned above, there are no changes in the powertrain department. Both cars continue to get the 115 PS 1-litre turbo-petrol and 150 PS 1.5-litre turbo petrol engines. The former can be had with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission, while the latter is currently available with a 7-speed DSG only.
The Slavia competes with the likes of Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus, and Hyundai Verna. The Kushaq locks horns with the Volkswagen Taigun, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, MG Astor and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
The updates add more value to the Slavia and Kushaq, with the main goal of prioritizing the sales of mid-spec variants. What do you think about the updates? Let us know in the comments below.
