Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Battalion Black Colour Variant Launched

The new variant’s badging on the fuel tank and the side panel is similar to the OG Bullet 350

Royal Enfield has launched a new colour of the Bullet 350 called Battalion Black. This colour variant sits above the base Military Black and Military Red colour options in the lineup and sits under the Military SilverBlack and Military SilverRed colour options. The Battalion Black variant costs Rs 1,74,875 (ex-showroom Chennai). 

The Battalion Black colour variant gets single-channel ABS and a rear drum brake. It has silver, gold and red coloured badging on the fuel tank and the side panel, which serves as the reminder of the Bullet of the yesteryears. It also gets the iconic swooping single-seat design that has always been associated with the Bullet. 

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is powered by a 349cc air-cooled, counter-balanced single-cylinder J-series engine making 20.2PS at 6100rpm and 27Nm at 4000rpm. The same motor powers the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350 as well. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension setup consists of a telescopic fork with fork covers, and twin shock absorbers. All the variants get a 300mm front disc brake while the base variant gets a rear drum brake. The mid and top-spec variants get a 270mm rear disc brake. Single-channel ABS is available as standard in the base variant and dual-channel ABS is available in the mid and top-sec variants. The Bullet 350 gets 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels with 100-section front and 120-section rear tyres. The bike has a wheelbase of 1390mm, ground clearance of 170mm, seat height of 805mm, kerb weight of 195kg and a fuel tank capacity of 13 litres. 

In terms of features, the Bullet 350 gets a semi-digital instrument console with an analogue speedometer and a digital inset. The LCD inset shows fuel gauge, eco indicator, odometer and trip meter readouts. The turn-by-turn navigation pod is available as an accessory. Royal Enfield offers a lot of accessories for the Bullet 350 like engine guards, sump guards, touring seat, pannier and much more. It rivals the likes of the Benelli Imperiale 400, Jawa 350, and Honda CB350.
