At EICMA 2024, Honda unveiled some upcoming vehicles like the Honda CUV e and also a new turbocharged V3 engine. The brand alsoupdated its lineup for the model year 2025. Here’s what the Japanese manufacturer brought to EICMA 2024:
Honda unveiled the CUV e at EICMA 2024. The electric scooter has dual 1.3kWh capacity removable battery packs and a claimed range of over 70km. The peak power output of the motor is 6kW and the claimed top speed is 80kmph. It is likely that the Honda Activa Electric could be based on this scooter.
The Honda CB350RS has been launched in Europe as the Honda GB350 and is available in three colour options: Puco Blue, Gunmetal Black Metallic and Pearl Deep Mud Gray. It is powered by the same 348cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 21.07PS at 5,500rpm and 30Nm at 3,000rpm.
The Honda XL750 Transalp has been updated for model year 2025 with a redesigned front-end inspired by the bigger capacity Honda Africa Twin. The twin-LED headlight setup is also new and there’s a new central duct on the windscreen for better airflow as well. Other changes include a new 5-inch TFT instrument console along with a new switchgear to navigate the console and new Graphite Black and Pearl Deep Mud Gray colour options along with the Ross White scheme already available in the current model. We expect the updated model to come to India sometime in 2025.

Honda unveiled the updated CRF300L and CRF300 Rally at EICMA 2024. The dual-sport bikes have an updated 43mm Shows inverted fork and monoshock suspension setup now and Honda has also worked on improving the heat management system of the bike as well. Other changes include LED indicators and an optional USB socket. With the recent launch of the Kawasaki KLX 230 and the unveiling of the new XPulse 210, the sub-300cc dual sport segment in India is heating up. The segment will become even more exciting if Honda decides to bring these bikes to our shores sometime in the next couple of years.
For the model year 2025, the Honda ADV350 gets exhaust and ECU updates to meet Euro5+ norms. It has also received preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers as well. The auto-cancelling indicators are now available as standard and the scooter has also received new colour options: Pearl Nightstar Black, Mat Ruthenium Silver Metallic, Hyper Red and Mat Coal Black Metallic. Like the CRF300 dual-sport bikes, we hope Honda brings this scooter to India very soon as well.
The Japanese manufacturer unveiled the world’s V3 with an electric compressor. The mid-capacity, liquid-cooled, 3-cylinder’s electric compressor provides compressed air in order to provide a better low-end torque performance. The electric compressor is basically a supercharger but driven by an electric motor instead of a belt drive. Honda says that it plans to develop a fully functioning prototype motorcycle based on this engine in 2025 and the first production motorcycle with this engine is likely to be a roadster.
