This festive season has already seen numerous launches and this trend will continue for the month of October as well. There are multiple car launches lined up in the coming months and in this article we will be taking you through the list of 5 cars that will be launched in the month of October. From a flagship premium EV belonging to this popular Korean car manufacturer to a facelifted version of a mass market Japanese SUV, the list has a diverse range of cars that will hit the Indian roads in the month of October.

Launch Date: October 3, 2024
The Kia Carnival is all set to make its comeback on our shores and will be launched alongside the EV9 on October 3, 2024. Bookings are already open for the Carnival MPV ahead of its launch. The Carnival boasts modern styling elements which look premium and up market. It will be available only in a 7-seater configuration and in two variants: Limousine and Limousine Plus.
The Carnival will be equipped with features including a 12.3-inch dual-screen setup for infotainment and digital driver's display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated and powered seats, two sunroofs, 3-zone climate control, 12-speaker Bose sound system, a 360-degree camera, level-2 ADAS and connected car tech features.
The MPV will be powered by a sole 193 PS/ 441 Nm 2.2-litre diesel engine which is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Kia will launch the premium EV9 SUV on October 3 as well. Up until now, the EV6 was the flagship Kia model in India, but that tag will soon be replaced by the EV9. It will be an imported model and unofficial bookings for the SUV are already open at select dealerships.

Features like a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, multi-colour ambient lighting, ventilated front and rear seats, multiple airbags, a 360-degree and level-2 ADAS will be available with the EV9. We have also exclusively reported that the India-spec model will get a gigantic 99.8 kWh battery pack paired with dual motors that produce 384 PS and 700 Nm. It will come with a claimed range of 561 km.

Nissan has announced that the facelifted Magnite will be launched on October 4, 2024. The Japanese carmaker has teased the upcoming model a couple of times, revealing its new design elements including a new design for its alloys and updated lighting elements. Take a look at our story on the same.
With the facelifted Magnite, we expect Nissan to give some extra features including both comfort features and safety upgrades. It is expected to be equipped with the same engine options as the current model which gets a 72PS/ 96Nm 1-litre naturally aspirated engine and a 100 PS/ up to 160 Nm 1-litre turbo-petrol engine. The engines will be offered with both manual and automatic transmission options.

The BYD eMAX 7, which is essentially the facelifted version of the e6, will be launched on October 8, 2024. Bookings are underway and the Chinese carmaker will be giving special benefits to the first 1,000 buyers of the facelifted MPV for those who reserve it within launch day and take delivery before March 25.
The electric MPV will be loaded with features such as a 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic glass roof, a wireless phone charger, powered driver’s seat, electric tailgate, and ventilated front seats. It will get ADAS features and 6 airbags as well.
It will be offered with a 71.8 kWh battery pack, which will offer an NEDC claimed range of 530 km. 150 PS and 310 Nm of output will be produced by its electric motor.

A new-generation of one of India’s most iconic and popular sedans will be launched on October 9. It will be the eighth-generation of the E-Class, set to be launched in its long-wheelbase avatar. The sedan was already revealed earlier and you can check out our detailed story on the same.
The new version of the E-Class has been made to look sleeker and more appealing. Most of the exterior changes are minor tweaks and cosmetic enhancements, which enhance the design of a car that was already very elegant looking. The main highlight is the interior which has been completely upgraded. It gets a triple screen setup with a 14.4-inch infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver's display and a separate 12.3-inch display for the front passenger, a four-zone climate control system, powered front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a 17-speaker Burmester 4D sound system.
The 2024 E-Class will be launched with a 2-litre turbo-petrol and a 2-litre diesel engine, both of which will be paired with a mild-hybrid system.
