Renault Kiger Facelift vs Nissan Magnite Compared: Two Sub-4m SUVs highlights

The 2025 Renault Kiger has just received a facelift with refreshed styling and more features, while the Nissan Magnite continues to be a value-driven choice with a wide variant spread. Since both SUVs share the same platform and engines, the real question is: which one offers the better deal for you? Let’s compare them across prices, dimensions, features and powertrain to find out.

Both SUVs are well-kitted and have complementary features. The Kiger facelift brings in a few niceties that feel more premium in day-to-day use, like ventilated front seats for hot summers. The Magnite, on the other hand, feels a bit more plush inside with its leatherette seats and a slightly larger 9-inch infotainment screen. Other features are mostly the same in both cars.

Nissan Magnite

Powertrain

Under the hood, there’s no real difference between the two. Both the Renault Kiger facelift and Nissan Magnite come with the same 1-litre petrol engine options: a naturally aspirated motor good for 72 PS and 96 Nm, and a turbo-petrol unit producing 100 PS and up to 160 Nm. Transmission choices are also the same. The NA petrol engines are paired with a 5-speed manual or an AMT, while the turbo-petrol gets a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
