SUVs Priced Under Rs 15 Lakh With Special Dark Themed Editions highlights

Dark-themed special editions continue to grow in popularity, and it is easy to see why. These cosmetic updates bring a stealthy appeal to already popular SUVs, often bundled with higher-spec features for added value. Most of these blacked-out editions are offered in the top trims, meaning you also get a well-equipped cabin alongside the cosmetic makeover.

If you are looking to buy an SUV with the added appeal of a dark-themed design, here are five options under Rs 15 lakh that come with special dark edition variants.

Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition

Prices start from Rs 8.31 lakh (ex-showroom)

Joining the trend of dark-themed cars is the Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition that stands out with its all-black treatment inside and out. Based on the N-Connecta variant, it brings cosmetic enhancements like a blacked-out grille, skid plates, roof rails, alloy wheels, and door handles, along with a special ‘KURO’ badge on the front fender. The cabin also features an all-black theme with piano black accents on the steering, gear lever, and door pads for a more premium appeal.

In terms of features, the Magnite Kuro Edition gets a wireless charger as standard, while a dashcam is available as an accessory. The rest of the equipment is carried over from the N-Connecta variant, including an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, auto AC, push-button start, and six airbags. It is offered with both 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1-litre turbo-petrol engine choices, paired with manual, AMT, or CVT gearbox choices.

Hyundai Exter Knight Edition

Prices start from Rs 8.46 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Exter Knight Edition is the other accessible model in this list. Based on the top-spec SX and SX(O) variants, the Exter Knight carries a premium of Rs 15,000 over the standard trims. For the added cost, the Exter Knight Edition boasts a distinctive all-black treatment, featuring dark logos, blacked-out alloy wheels, red accents across the exterior, and red brake callipers. The cabin also sticks to the theme, with black upholstery and red stitching. Power comes from the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that puts out 83 PS and 114 Nm.

Colour choices of the Venue Knight Edition include Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, and a dual-tone Fiery Red with Abyss Black roof. Engine choices include the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a more powerful 1.0-litre turbo-petrol that can be had with either the 6-speed manual or the 7-speed DCT option.
