MINI India relaunched the Cooper S Convertible, a hatchback where you can enjoy the wind-on-your hair feeling. While its design might be unmistakably Mini, there is no doubt that the convertible roof dials up the charm level a notch up. Even the interior design is thoroughly modern and minimalistic, courtesy of all the controls bunched in the 9.4-inch circular OLED touchscreen infotainment system.

The main update is at the front, where the Hector now gets a brand new grille for a fresher look. The carmaker has also given it a new alloy wheel design and 2 new colour options as well.

Inside, the dashboard layout and design remains identical, but there are new colour schemes on offer. The large 14-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen infotainment system has been given updates which include touch-based gesture control functions, upgraded RAM for a smoother experience and a new user interface as well.

Kia also unveiled the second-generation Seltos with a massive design overhaul and feature updates earlier this month.
The interior is completely reworked, highlighted by the Trinity Panoramic Display that combines a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a small 5-inch climate control panel. Other highlights include 64-colour ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and a 447-litre boot.

After years of waiting, Tata has finally revealed the Harrier and Safari SUVs with a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which also powers the newly-launched Sierra. Both SUVs retain their bold design, spacious cabins, and premium interiors while also getting some new features like a larger 14.5-inch touchscreen, an updated 10-speaker JBL sound system and a digital inside rear-view mirror.

The new petrol variants are powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 170 PS and 280 Nm. This engine is available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options and is tuned to deliver smoother performance and lower NVH than the diesel.

The petrol models sit alongside the existing 2-litre diesel engine, which produces around 170 PS and 350 Nm.
December 2025 marked a shift toward the industry’s growing focus on SUVs, technology, and powertrain choice. The return of the Tata Sierra, the new Kia Seltos, feature-rich updates to the MG Hector twins, and the addition of petrol engines to the Harrier and Safari underline how OEMs are broadening appeal across buyer profiles. Add the MINI Cooper S Convertible to the mix, and the last month of the year delivered one of the most varied and important line-ups heading into 2026.
