Tata Harrier And Safari Get Feature-loaded Adventure X Variants, Priced From Rs 18.99 Lakh

Features attract buyers, but features at an affordable price attract even more customers. To offer more value at a lower price, Tata has now launched the Adventure X lineup for the Harrier and Safari, priced at Rs 18.99 lakh and Rs 19.99 lakh, respectively. Here’s a closer look at the pricing, and what all it gets…

Tata Harrier And Safari Adventure X Price

As seen in the table above, the Adventure X range is priced from Rs 18.99 lakh to Rs 19.34 lakh for the Harrier. The Safari only gets the Adventure X Plus, priced at an additional Rs 65,000. 

Tata Harrier And Safari Adventure X Trims Explained

The exterior remains similar for the most part, but the interior gets a lot more for the price at which the new variants are offered at. In terms of features, you get Level-2 ADAS which makes driving more effortless, and a panoramic sunroof for a more premium feel inside the cabin. 

The other key features include a 360-degree camera that makes parking easy, electronic parking brake with auto hold, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 6-speaker sound system, 6-way powered driver seat with memory function, auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. Furthermore, you also get all four disc brakes, and 6 airbags as safety features. In short, you get a feature-loaded cabin  with the Adventure X trims. 

Level-2 ADAS, rear disc brakes, and electronic parking brake with auto hold are available with the Adventure X Plus variants only. 

Both Safari and Harrier Adventure X trims come with leatherette upholstery and dualtone colour schemes that give the interior a sophisticated look. Do note that the Safari Adventure X Plus comes only with a 7-seater layout and the 6-seater version is reserved for the Accomplished X+ variant.

You also get the new Seaweed Green hue, which is a more premium finish when compared to the standard colour options. 

Both Harrier and Safari come with the same 2-litre diesel engine that churns out 170 PS and 350 Nm, and can be paired with either a manual or an automatic transmission.

Could this be an effect of the Harrier EV? Maybe, yes! The Harrier EV’s overall package is exciting and has started to make the ICE-powered Harrier look a bit under-equipped, for similar money. So we believe that to counter this, Tata has smartly offered more value in the lower-spectrum of the Harrier's price range, thereby making the diesel-powered Harrier more attractive than before. 

For around Rs 20 lakh, you usually get compact SUVs that are much smaller in size. So purchasing the Harrier or Safari might seem to be a more valuable option considering the package it offers.
