Quick Highlights
Triumph Speed T4 will be updated with new 4 colours
It includes two flashy colours & two subtle ones
Other than this, the bike should be mechanically unchanged
We have exclusive information that Triumph India is planning on updating the Speed T4 with 4 new colours for 2025. The new colours look a lot more flashy than what the bike is currently offered in, and also gives the bike a more premium look and feel. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the new colours and what they have to offer.
The new colours include a white and blue colour, and a white and red dual-tone one, which looks quite flashy. Other than this, the Triumph Speed T4 will be offered in Phantom Black/Graphite/Pearl Metallic White colour scheme, and a Phantom Black/Light Graphite Grey/Storm Grey colour scheme.
The first two colour schemes follow the same design pattern as the one which we have seen on the Speed 400’s colours. It features a triple-tone finish, with white on the front half of the tank, and blue/red on the rear half. Triumph has also used a grey stripe to separate both. The Red and Blue colour schemes look quite good and would be perfect for customers who want something that’s a bit flashy.
The Phantom Black/Graphite/Pearl Metallic White and Phantom Black/Light Graphite Grey/Storm Grey look a lot more subtle and manage to give a more subtle feel. These two colours will be perfect for those who are not fans of flashy colours.
Triumph Speed T4 is offered in 3 colours currently: Metallic White, Phantom Black and Cocktail Red. The main issue with the colours, in our opinion, is that the colours just don’t go well with the black graphics. It makes the bike look a bit too bland and doesn’t make the bike feel like a premium roadster.
With these upcoming colours, the brand will be able to make the Speed T4 a more visually attractive offering. It will also help Triumph India in distinguishing the bike from the Triumph Speed 400 to a greater extent. Other than the addition of these new colour schemes, the Speed T4 should remain mechanically unchanged in the upcoming update.
Currently, the T4 is powered by a 398.15cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor which outputs 31PS and 36Nm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. The Speed T4 is offered at a price of Rs 1,99,000 (ex-showroom). The Speed T4 goes up against other roadsters in the 400cc segment including the Hero Mavrick 440.
