Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG bike has reached Delhi, after Maharashtra, Gujarat, & Kerala. It is now available in the national capital from Rs 94,995 to Rs 1,09,997 (ex-showroom, Delhi). All the three variants of the CNG bike will be sold in Delhi: NG04 Drum, NG04 Drum LED, and NG04 Disc LED, and in all five colourways: Ebony Black, Caribbean Blue, Cyber White, Racing Red, Pewter Grey.

Now available in 4 states

The Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG bike is powered by a 125cc air-cooled sloper engine that makes 9.5PS and 9.7Nm, and is primarily powered by CNG that’s stored in a 2kg cylinder. However, there’s also a 2-litre petrol tank that acts as an auxiliary fuel source, in case the bike runs out of CNG. Combined, the Freedom 125 has a claimed range of 330km.

It gets a 17-inch front wheel suspended using a conventional fork, and a 16-inch rear wheel suspended using a segment-first linked monoshock. Both the wheels have TVS Eurogrip tyres, which have a decent grip. The bike gets a disc brake at the front for the top variant, and drum at the rear, with combined braking system (CBS). The other two variants get drum brakes on both the wheels with CBS.

World's first CNG bike

The CNG bikes get a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity for phone alerts, a USB charging port on the handlebar, and well, that’s about it. Here’s our Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG bike review, that will help you know how it performs in the real-world.

However, if you are worried about the safety of the CNG bike, Bajaj has done about 11 safety tests on the bike to make it quite safe. Apart from those, there are a few standard tests mandated by the government. In all the tests, the CNG tank did not deform, and maintained the CNG pressure as it was.

The Freedom 125 doesn’t have any direct rivals, however for the same price, you can get the TVS Raider and the Hero Xtreme 125R. Here’s a variant-wise price breakdown:
