Doesn’t this look sportier than the Honda Dio?

(Update: Hero MotoCorp has launched the Xoom 110. Check out what it packs in our launch story.)

As Hero MotoCorp gears up to take the wraps off the Maestro Xoom 110 in a few hours, we bring you a detailed image of the design of this sporty scooter. This picture shows the Xoom 110 in a bright orange colour, with a very attractive design, which seems to be inspired by its electric scooter sibling, the Vida V1

The handlebar cowl houses the indicators, and its design is reminiscent of the TVS NTorq 125. The fascia is sharp complimented by an edgy headlight with a ‘X-shaped’ LED DRL, while the rest of the bodywork compliments the aggressive front nicely. Overall, the Xoom 110 features a sporty aesthetic, oozing a youthful appeal, especially in the orange shade.

The scooter seen in the image is expected to be the top-of-the-line ZX (or perhaps it could be called the Xtec) variant, as it is seen with a disc brake and redesigned alloy wheels (first debuted on the Hero Vida V1). It also gets LEDs on the lower fascia, which may be the “guide me home” lights or be a part of the cornering light unit.

The brand’s website reveals the front disc caliper to be a Bybre unit. It has also teased the LED tail light with bulb indicators, and the 12-inch wheels are wrapped in MRF Nylogrip rubber. Details of the variants and powertrain were made known through a type approval document that we dug up. Check it out here.

The Hero Maestro Xoom 110 is expected to be priced around the Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom) mark, and will rival the likes of the Honda Dio and TVS Jupiter SmartXonnect variant.
