Honda Activa Electric Teased Before Unveil highlights

Honda has dropped a new teaser for the Honda Activa Electric, this time giving us a glimpse of the charger. The charging port and charger shown are likely going to be used as a backup charging option for the swappable batteries.

The teaser shows the e-scooter’s charger and the charging port, and it looks similar to the ones used on a fixed battery electric scooter. However, the Honda Activa Electric will feature a removable battery setup. This removable battery setup could be similar to the one used on the Honda CUV E, with riders being able to charge the batteries after removing them.

In a previous teaser, the removable battery setup and the swap station which will come with it were shown. Honda has been testing the swap stations in Bangalore for a few years now, and the brand could set up similar swap stations across the country in the coming years after the electric Activa has been launched.

The base variant of the Activa Electric will feature a simple LCD console, whereas the top of the line  variant will offer a 7-inch TFT console. The TFT console will offer smartphone connectivity and related features such as smartphone connectivity, call/SMS alerts, music controls and turn-by-turn navigation.

The Honda Activa Electric will offer two riding modes: Standard and Sport, along with a reverse mode as well. The e-scooter could be powered by a dual 1.3kWh battery, offering a claimed range of 104km in standard mode.

The Honda Activa Electric is going to be unveiled on Nov 27, 2024, which is tomorrow. We expect the e-scooter to come at a price that is around Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.30 lakh ex-showroom.
