Q. Baleno cvt or Jazz cvt I am planning to buy either baleno cvt or jazz cvt high end model. I am confused which one to buy. So experts can you help me out to choose the best . Factors to consider 1) Rubber band effect 2) performance and pickup 3) Stability and build quality 4) maintenance and resale value

Considering factor 1- i personally have not driven the cvt models in both the cars so it would be difficult for me to comment on this one. Performance and pickup- honda jazz being and vtec motor has a upper hand in the performance, but it comes with a huge lag in low rpms. speaking of the baleno, performance wise it does not excel than the honda but surely has a bit of upper hand in the pick up.stability and build quality- no doubts and arguments on this one that the honda is way better than the maruti in both the aspects. maintenance and resale- maintenance of both the cars are almost equal in long terms but the maruti surely gives a better resale.in the end I would conclude that one should opt the honda for better control, more pleasure and a safe drive

Don't get confused. You can go for jazz. Spacious. Smooth. Except occasional slow grip on first gear I felt jazz is awesome

Built quality jazz is way ahead and engine performance also jazz is ahead of baleno any time I have a jazz CVT and have driven a baleno
