Volkswagen Polo GT TSI is priced at Rs. 9.40 lakh (Ex-showroom Price, Delhi). Click on the link to know about its on-road price and select the city accordingly: https://www.zigwheels.com/newcars/Volkswagen/Polo/on-road-price-delhi The GT TSI, is one of the most popular performance hatchbacks in India. The turbocharged 4-cylinder mill produces 105PS of power and 175Nm of torque, and while the standard Polo petrol gets a 5-speed manual gearbox, the GT TSI gets a 7-speed dual clutch autobox that offers slick shifts and rapid progress. It helps in keeping a relaxed left-foot when you’re stuck in city traffic and enables quick downshifts when you’re zipping through truckers on those weekend trips.
Polo GT Tsi is the only model of polo available in automatic. It had the DSG 7 speed gearbox which is one of the best in all segments. In fact the buggati Veyron had the same gearbox. This drives the price if the polo a bit up. The GT Tsi costs about 10 lakh on road
Im owning Manual petrol.Just sharing info,My friends said to me GT TDI is best in this class.Awesome performance and fun to drive.Worth to buy don't miss it.In 2014,I was not introduced else i could buy it.
Cost of service doesnt depend on the variant, but on your drive - where & how you drive, whether petrol or diesel. General service costs vary between 7.5k - 10.0 for a petrol & about 2.5k additional for the diesel variants (costs are per year/ single service every 15,000 kms, whatever is less). It is more expensive than other brands but its a VW & well worth it
Its a great experience owning a Polo. It has a minimum frequency of Maintainence.
It is expensive for sure. 45k average am spending per annum. Also you have wear and tear expenses which will also be more from diesel vehicle point of view
Spare parts may be a bit more expensive but with German engineering the possibility of it failing is very low. After 6-7 years (and running almost a lakh kms) a turbo on our diesel vento failed, however rest is all still in top notch condition. Regular service and maintenance keeps the car running smoothly. On the other hand a Manza we have needed a complete engine overhaul after catastrophic failure and cost almost 2-3lakh to repair after 5 years.
15-20k is too high estimation, it actually comes to around 10k. I did my first service for 6.8k (I have a trendline) and my friend paid 9.2k (he has a GT TSI).
Expect around 10K. Would advise to get the servicing done on time, if you miss, service center will gimmick you for more.
According to polo it's a best hatch back and it has nice pickup we can drive 160km/h easily it's maintenance cost for per service is 14000 approximately little costlier than Indian cars but performance is much better than marutis
No, It's a basic Version. It comes with passat & recently highend Vento added with.
The standard Polo can be had with a 76PS, 1.0-litre petrol engine or a 90PS, 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Polo GT is offered with more powerful engine options: a 1.2-litre TSI petrol and 1.5-litre TDI diesel engine which have a power output of 105PS and 110PS, respectively. This makes the Polo GT one of the the most powerful hatchbacks in the sub-Rs10 lakh category. The 1.2-litre TSI engine is coupled with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox while the 1.5-litre TDI is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Ceramic coating is a great way of preserving your paint shade but it is very expensive. In my opinion it's just not worth it on a polo. If it was a Jaguar or some expensive car then I would say its worth it.
Not necessarily required, unless your car is always in open on sunlight / rain, if covered when not in used then i don't think its worth to spend on special ceramic coating.
The newly launched Hyundai Grand i10 Nios differs a lot from the Volkswagen Polo in terms of performance, handling, comfort, pricing and usage. Grand i10 Nios gets the same set of 1.2-litre petrol and diesel engines as the ongoing Grand i10 that makes 83PS and 75PS of maximum power respectively, whereas, the 1.2-litre TSI petrol engine in Polo makes 105PS of maximum power. Volkswagen Polo is a more premium hatchback car compared to the Grand i10 Nios and gets features such as automatic AC, touchscreen infotainment, auto-dimming mirror, etc. Also, the build quality of Polo is best-in-class, even the interiors. Moreover, we'd recommend taking a test drive of the car for a better insight into the performance, comfort and compatibility. Follow the link for dealership details - New Car Showrooms

Yes , spare parts are costly. Moreover huge labour charge , gst etc adds up in the case of authorised service centers. There are other good service centers which services luxury cars incl. polo where costs are much lesser. But you have to enquire locally about good such service centers nearby.
It’s awesome...I just got my new one...it’s drivers car and has best build quality....you cannot see reviewer talking about cars build quality except few in YouTube and you can notice the same....Best take a test drive and decide....
I will not buy one for sure. Not good for highway driving.
Your first car! I feel you should opt for a manual car to get experience in driving, and chose a model that needs easy maintenance . A Polo automatic is not cheap to maintain. The spares are very costly, and you have to take extended warranty to avoid this .If you're not living in a big city, the spares may not be readily available also. Good luck.
GT TDi is best in any hatchback ..GT Tsi ....if u drive in city...
That would depend on your preference of the segment and the usage of the car as both cars belong to a different segment and the performance differs as well. If you are looking for a car with comfortable drivability, high-speed stability and a feature-loaded cabin, then the Hyundai Verna could be a better option, whereas, if you want a car with a powerful engine, premium quality exterior and interior, and a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox then you may go for the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI. Verna is a full fledged sedan while polo is a hatchback, u compare these is a simple thing
