The Hero Xoom 125 will be Hero’s latest attempt at grabbing the market share of the lucrative sporty 125cc scooter segment. It gets a bulky yet muscular apron, a small, flat floorboard, and edgy side panels. The lighting system is likely to be all-LED and the scooter features telescopic fork, front disc brake, rear monoshock, and what appears to be large 14-inch alloy wheels.
It will likely be priced at around Rs 90,000-95,000 (ex-showroom), and will primarily go up against the Aprilia SR 125. Other rivals include the TVS NTorq 125, Honda Grazia, and the Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid. Expect the bikemaker to launch the scooter by the end of 2023.
