I own baleno 2021 model,worst

I own baleno 2021 model, Worst car in my opinion, Power lagging, Very unstable at speed more than 60kmpl, Breaking is not good, But the main problem i am facing of initial power lagging, I visited many times to service station but they don't consider it, And can't be able to diagnose the problem even maruti suzuki service stations have not such infrastructure and knowledge to rectify my problem.Fuel efficiency is very low 13 in city and 15 at highways.

reasons why it is best selling

The top-selling hatchback in india. Fuel efficiency is about 18 to 22 kmpl. The car doesn't have an ncap test. Also, The car build quality is not good. There is a lot of hard plastic in the interior. These are the negatives which i have found out till now. The car has priced from 5.45 lakh for the base petrol variant and 8, 77 lakh for the top-end petrol automatic variant (2019 model prices). However, Driving is comfortable and has good air conditioning with automatic temperature control which automatically adjusts the fan speed to maintain the temperature inside the car. This is the perfect family car. These are the reasons why it is best selling hatchback in india.

Best to buy Tata Harrier, you will get enough power as it is a 2 litre engine.

Light build

3.3

Baleno delta 1.2 (p), Dec.2015 - performance is as expected of a light car.Picks up speed fairly quickly and does not feel underpowered.I have driven around 94000 odd kilometres and the performance is still good.Over 3000 rpm the engine has a nice sporty note.Engine is still very smooth and quiet at idle.Handling is a notch below the swift but holds well at upto 120kph.The engine is not meant for whipping and will feel strained above 110kph.For highway runs, The sweet spot is 80-105kph.Mileage is fantastic and even with ac i am able to achieve 16-17kpl (tankful method) in the city.Highway mileage is over 21kpl.Build quality is poor, Both inside and outside.Interior trim on doors has started to come off.Picks up dents very easily and though i have done many highway trips, The feeling of safety is elusive on account of the light build. There is some rattling now from the dashboard. My alto from 2009 felt better built. However, None of the electricals have failed at any point of time, Which is a nice surprise. The features are par for the course at the time it was launched. So no complaints there.Everything is still working as it should. The music system is average and gets the job done.It will not please audiophiles. There should have been an engine cover below the engine atleast to protect from flying stones.Although the car was marketed as a premium vehicle through nexa, The quality of plastics belies the same. But it is not something one cannot live with.Ride comfort is average.Suspension, Especially at the back is on the harder side. But ac does a good job.Nvh levels at highway speeds are high due to thin glass panels and thin sheet metal. The space in the car is very good and legroom, Shoulder room at the back is at times better than cars from a category above.Though the boot is not massive, I have found it to be good for a week's worth of luggage out on the road for 3-4 persons. It is very convenient to live with as a city runabout and i find that it strikes a very good balance of space, Practicality, Efficiency and performance. Can handle the occasional highway jaunt. The maruti after sales service is not cheap anymore. However, So far my experience with the service centre has been more than satisfactory and they do pay attention to the car, Even though its over 6 years old now.Best: efficiency, Spaceworst: build quality.

Baleno offers

4.0

It is a good car. I have been driving the Baleno Delta petrol manual version in Lucknow for more than 5 years. It is good to drive although I would have loved to own the RS version that came later. Nevertheless, Baleno for me was a good change over after having driven the Wagon R LXi for 14 years. Baleno offers a good experience both in the city and on the long route. In the city, it has a peppy drive, comfortable temp control and returns a mileage of 12 kmpl in summer with a/c and 13 to 14kmpl in winter. I think this return is manageable considering its 1197 cc in 4 cylinders. On long routes, it returns 16 to 17 kmpl with a/c. It handles well on long routes and I have comfortably done 800 kms in 14 hours. No problems at all!! All mechanics, systems worked very well even in extreme conditions and cobbled roads. Comfort-wise, it's a very good car. Personally, I feel the driver seating position could be a little firmer and raised. That's probably because of having driven dp540 and Wagon R. The build seems somewhat flimsy and safety becomes a concern at high speeds on long routes. The noise vibration and harshness are pretty low but tyre noise seeps in at high speeds and especially on long routes. It becomes noticeable. After-sales must improve. You are on your toes when the service takes place as the persons doing the job handle the car roughly and I have ended up with a dent on the dicky. It's a low maintenance car and any way Maruti scores on low-cost maintenance. Overall as I have said, It's a sweet thing and more so at the price.

Fantastic feeling

4.8

Love the car as it is, awesome performance, comfortable enough, mileage wise also good. Entertainment system is also good. Sitting capacity is also enough, leg space is also gives you a fantastic feeling, only issue is in the suspension is quite stiff you will feel it while you are on a rough road. Car is very steady even you are on 120 speed. Breaking system could have improved a bit. More over style wise means overall look wise you won't feel out dated, it always looks freash..to summarise it, the car is value for your money , you won't get disappointed if you are planning to buy it.

Safety : be prepared to compromise with your safety for sure.Even i minor head on collition you can't survive for sure.Performance : i have driven many cars like polo, Amaze, Etios, Indica vista etc of the same category.Performance is average. You will not get the speed boost/ push like swift.
