Q. Which car is best Baleno or Elite i20?

ANIL | 3 years ago3 ReplyFriend I'm not agree with you. I am using i20 for two and half years and I drive approx 50 kms daily on almost all types of roads in city, highways as well as rural areas. This car is awesome in terms of quality, stable handling, safety etc. One day I've seen two guys sitting on my bonnet and no dent took place. Many more times I have witnessed the robust built quality of this car. The only downside is lower mileage in city driving (about 10-13). But on highway it is ok and gives approx 16-18 kmpl. The car is very comfortable. The engine runs butter smooth and absolutely silent like electric motor. Many times I've driven continuously for more than 6 hrs without any discomfort. I haven't used Maruti baleno but I'm quite satisfied with the silent and butter smooth performance of i20. This car is definitely a fantastic, highly admirable and premium quality machine.
Krutik | 3 years ago3 Reply@ Vinay | Elite i20 is a good car, very good comfort level, good build quality materials used inside & outside of car but need to compromise with mileage of petrol i20. One thing is sure once you enter inside of car & drive it, you feel premium car like Audi driving experience. Performance wise car takes times to get pick up in 2nd gear, It easily go 60 - 100 km without any extra efforts very smoothly. Need to say if you are looking for premium class with good comfort can go blindly with i20 but mileage wise slightly slow compare to any Maruti vehicles... What else to say further.... As i have Elite i 20 Asta O Petrol 2017 model and driving busy Bangalore city traffic gets around 11 -12 km in city & highway around 16 - 18 km depends on driving pattern. You can easily get around 17 km with smooth driving on highway & 12 km in city with full time Ac. Even i gets same till now. Maintenance come around 5- 7 thousands with service interval 10000 km.Your daily driving of 40 km petrol is best option.

At some points you are wrong... I agree Baleno gives you the better performance and acceleration... But i20 on the other hand gives you more features than Baleno... Gives you better build quality than Baleno, gives you more good feel and touch of material... Even i20 has a better road presence...i20 has better safety options and has better breaking than its rivals... It's infotainment system is more sleek and smooth than Baleno... i20 engine is more refined and silent ... But in terms of better performance, mileage and acceleration definetly Baleno tooks a lead here... Now if you are still confused which one to buy then go for tata altroz... :)

Aditi | 1 year ago1 ReplyFrom personal experience and with a family of four, I would say Elite i20 as it delivers on the usability and street presence. It's refined and has better handling too. As good as they come and is certainly worth buying. Performance-wise it takes time to get picked up in 2nd gear; it will quickly go 60-100 km without extra effort. Maintenance is approximately 5-7K, with a service interval of 10000 km. I remember financing it through HDFC Bank in 2015, and it was a simple process to get approved for a car loan. Visited the car dealership on the same day to pay the margin money and signed a loan agreement leaflet and my car was invoiced on the same day. DeepranjanGhosh | 4 years ago8 ReplyDepends on your choiceIn case of petrol if you like premium interior good built quality linear pickup and confortable ride then i20 and if you want better initial pickup better milage then you can choose baleno but you have to compromise with ride quality because baleno have very bad suspension and you have to compromise with built quality. In case of diesel i20 has better pickup and also linear pickup. So in case of diesel i20 is best in all things and in case of petrol baleno is only good in milage and pickup otherwise i20 is better car than baleno.

On the other hand Baleno is good on average with compensating build quality. I would recommend elite i20. Have been driving this for 2.5 months in Delhi traffic and on highways.
Zubin | 5 years ago5 ReplyBaleno is far better off. As you can see engine of i20 cannot run as longer as of the balèno. Also resell value is much more for balèno. Build quality is almost same. You get better milage in balèno. But as for comfort I think i20 gets a thumb up for its rear suspension. Both have 1.2 L engine in petrol version.
Subhadeep | 5 years ago1 ReplyThis is a tricky question. Both are good cars. I have tried both the cars on trial both are good but I felt i20 a bit more comfy and stylish so I went for it. But having said that Baleno is also a good option. i20 have a good body and latest engine to sustain for next 10 years atleast.
