We bought baleno zeta in

We bought baleno zeta in 2020.The car is good for city drives. If we compare it with village roads than it is little bit disappointable. The cabin is so spacious.Engine is very smooth.+pickup is also nice.Build quality is so weak if we compare in this segment cars.Suspension is hard as compared to i20 and altroz.I usually drive on village roads so the vibrations are disturbing.Paint quality is between poor and good.Seat is comfortable for long drives. After sale service is so good as compared to others. The service advisors satisfy us with their work.Plus no extra adding of costs unnecessarily.Overall a good car for city drives.Mileage is good im getting around 16-19 on village roads.

Light build

3.3

Baleno delta 1.2 (p), Dec.2015 - performance is as expected of a light car.Picks up speed fairly quickly and does not feel underpowered.I have driven around 94000 odd kilometres and the performance is still good.Over 3000 rpm the engine has a nice sporty note.Engine is still very smooth and quiet at idle.Handling is a notch below the swift but holds well at upto 120kph.The engine is not meant for whipping and will feel strained above 110kph.For highway runs, The sweet spot is 80-105kph.Mileage is fantastic and even with ac i am able to achieve 16-17kpl (tankful method) in the city.Highway mileage is over 21kpl.Build quality is poor, Both inside and outside.Interior trim on doors has started to come off.Picks up dents very easily and though i have done many highway trips, The feeling of safety is elusive on account of the light build. There is some rattling now from the dashboard. My alto from 2009 felt better built. However, None of the electricals have failed at any point of time, Which is a nice surprise. The features are par for the course at the time it was launched. So no complaints there.Everything is still working as it should. The music system is average and gets the job done.It will not please audiophiles. There should have been an engine cover below the engine atleast to protect from flying stones.Although the car was marketed as a premium vehicle through nexa, The quality of plastics belies the same. But it is not something one cannot live with.Ride comfort is average.Suspension, Especially at the back is on the harder side. But ac does a good job.Nvh levels at highway speeds are high due to thin glass panels and thin sheet metal. The space in the car is very good and legroom, Shoulder room at the back is at times better than cars from a category above.Though the boot is not massive, I have found it to be good for a week's worth of luggage out on the road for 3-4 persons. It is very convenient to live with as a city runabout and i find that it strikes a very good balance of space, Practicality, Efficiency and performance. Can handle the occasional highway jaunt. The maruti after sales service is not cheap anymore. However, So far my experience with the service centre has been more than satisfactory and they do pay attention to the car, Even though its over 6 years old now.Best: efficiency, Spaceworst: build quality.

Powertrain options

The new Maruti Baleno facelift is expected to get a major overhaul in terms of design along with a bunch of new features. The powertrain options, However, Are likely to remain unchanged. It will get two 1.2-liter petrol engines, And while one of them develops 82 hp, The other one churns out 88 hp and gets a smart hybrid technology too. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a CVT.

Low maintenance car

The very good car.Less maintenance cost, Super silent gear shifter.Petrol engine and new zeta model is1awesome.Mileage is 23 kmpl sometimes on highway for petrol version.Comfort and cabin space is much wider than1all other cars in the market.Only tata altroz stands in comparison with this but altroz engine is noisy and1gear shifter sometimes stucks even in test drive tata altroz.
