Mahindra Thar Roxx 5 Door Arrives At Dealerships! Deliveries To Begin From Dussehra

Mahindra launched the Thar Roxx last month at an attractive starting price of Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). After almost a month, it has arrived at dealerships and you can now check it out in person. However, test drives will begin from September 14, bookings will commence from October 3 and deliveries will begin from Dussehra on October 12. Mahindra Thar Roxx: Overview 

The Mahindra Thar Roxx is the 5-door version of the Thar which is also available in a 3-door avatar. The Thar Roxx features premium design elements like C-shaped LED DRLs, LED headlamps and fog lamps, new sporty looking alloy wheels, and LED tail lamps. The Thar Roxx is available in 7 different colours: Everest White, Stealth Black, Deep Forest (green), Tango Red, Nebula Blue, Battleship Grey and Burnt Sienna.

The interior of the new Thar Roxx sports dual-tone black and beige shades with soft touch materials for the dashboard. The extra set of doors makes ingress and egress easier into the rear seats which is also wider now and offers more room thanks to its larger wheelbase. 

In terms of equipment, the Thar Roxx packs 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, cruise control, and a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. 

In terms of safety, it gets level-2 ADAS, ABS with EBD, 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and electronic stability control.

The Mahindra Thar Roxx is priced from Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 20.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the RWD variants. Prices for the four-wheel drive variants will be revealed soon. It locks horns with the Force Gurkha 5-door, while being a larger alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
