Mahindra Thar Roxx gets model year 2025 updates.
Gets added features such as keyless entry and sliding co-driver armrest for more convenience.
Now gets front aero wipers, which should have a quieter operation.
Other key features include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and dual 10.25-inch displays
Powered by either a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine or a 2.2-litre diesel engine
Prices range from Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 23.09 lakh
One thing that needs to be appreciated about Mahindra is that they are quick to listen to customer feedback and also give necessary updates to their cars without much delay. As part of the 2025 model year updates, the popular Thar Roxx now gets few feature additions and minor improvements to enhance the ownership experience.
It is also important to note that the update comes without a price hike, and the Thar Roxx continues to range between Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 23.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
So without further ado, let’s take a look at the updates:
The Mahindra Thar Roxx was already pretty much loaded to the brim with convenience and safety features, but it missed out on an essential feature: keyless entry. It got remote locking and unlocking before, but now with the addition of a request sensor on the door handle, it ensures easier ingress and egress for front passengers as they don’t have to use the keyfob to open the car.

The Thar Roxx’s front centre armrest now gets the sliding function for the co-driver. Earlier, only the driver side used to get the sliding feature. Moreover, it now also gets aerodynamic wipers which should make less noise than the regular set of wipers (at higher speeds).

These changes are not major, but do leave an impact for sure!
The Thar Roxx comes with a long list of features including premium ones as well. The list includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, wireless phone charger, and powered driver’s seat.

Safety features include a 360-degree camera, level-2 ADAS features, six airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, front and rear parking sensors, and electronic parking brake with auto hold.
There are no changes to the powertrain department, the 5-door Thar Roxx gets multiple powertrain and drivetrain options.
Here’s a look at its powertrain options:
