Hero MotoCorp launched the Xoom 160 maxi-scooter at Auto Expo 2025. The scooter is available in single variant and four colour options: Matte Rainforest Green, Canyon Red, Pearl Summit White and Volcanic Grey. It is priced at Rs 1,48,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Let’s have a detailed look at what features the first maxi scooter from Hero gets.

The Hero Xoom 160 gets an LCD instrument cluster which is the same unit we have previously seen on the Hero Xoom 110. The LCD console on the Xoom 160 gets Bluetooth connectivity which enables turn-by-turn navigation. The layout on the display is quite simple and easy to read. It displays all the necessary information such as the speed, fuel range, trip meters, odometer and other telltale lights. It also gets a USB charging port which is located on the front apron.

The scooter gets dual-LED headlights and an LED tail light. All indicators are conventional bulb-type units. To improve the safety quotient, the scooter comes equipped with ABS for the front wheel. Convenience features on the Xoom 160 are keyless ignition and an underseat storage light.

Hero Xoom 160 is powered by a 156cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which makes 14.6PS and 14Nm, which is paired to a CVT. The scooter gets a silent start/stop system which Hero claims to improve the overall fuel efficiency of the scooter. It gets 14-inch alloy wheels at both ends which are wrapped around with block-pattern tyres.
