Hero MotoCorp may soon launch a facelifted version of the 150cc Hero Hunk. The updated motorcycle was spotted at a Hero dealership recently

Hero MotoCorp is planning to launch a facelifted version of the 150cc Hero Hunk, just ahead of the festive season.

Undisguised and ready for sale Hero Hunk bikes were spotted at a Hero dealership recently, with minor cosmetic upgrades.

The new facelifted version has a few extra features, including a new instrument panel with side stand indicator and a newly designed headlight, new crash bar and mandatory saree guard. Overall, the bike carries the same muscular silhouette of the current model Hero Hunk.

We aren’t sure about any mechanical upgrades on the Hero Hunk yet, but it’s expected that the new model will come with the engine tuned for slightly better power output than the current model.

The new Hero Hunk is expected to cost slightly more than the existing model – between Rs 2500-3000 more than the current Hero Hunk. Once launched, the updated Hero Hunk will compete against the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer, upcoming Honda Hornet 160 and Yamaha FZ-S.
