Last week, Ather installed 10 new charging grids in Mumbai where all EV owners could charge their vehicles for free. Now, the brand has inaugurated two new experience centres, one in Delhi and the other in Jaipur. In the nation’s capital, the Ather 450X is priced at Rs 1,46,926 and the 450 Plus at Rs 1,27,916. And for Jaipur, Ather has priced the 450X at Rs 1,59,524 whereas the 450 Plus retails at Rs 1,40,514.
Ather Energy has already set up 10 fast-charging stations across Delhi, Noida, Gurugram & Ghaziabad and aims to increase the number in the coming months. For Jaipur, the EV maker has set up three charging grids which are located in Vaishali Nagar, C Scheme and Tonk Road.
The Ather 450X is undoubtedly one of the best crops in the Indian EV market. It packs a 6kW PMSM motor and a 2.9kWh lithium-ion battery. One of the most exciting features of the 450X is the Warp mode that makes the e-scooter sprint from 0 to 40kmph in just 3.3 seconds.
Recently, Ather updated the 450X with the Atherstack Atom. This allows the rider to control music playback and phone calls right from the 450X’s dashboard itself. You can read about it in detail, here.
