OLA ROADSTER X+

Ola Electric recently launched the Roadster X series of electric bikes in India. Between the Roadster X and X+, it's the X+ variant which offers a lot more features. Lets have a closer look at all the features the Roadster X+ has to offer.

 

Instrument Cluster

The Ola Roadster X+ gets a 4.3-inch LCD screen. It shows all the crucial information like speed, trip information, battery information, range, side stand warning, time and date. The display is based on Ola’s MoveOS 5 which also enables turn-by-turn navigation using Ola maps. It also allows smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth and enables SMS/call alerts and music controls.

 

Electronic Features 

The Roadster X+ gets a host of electronic features which make it a lot more convenient on a day-to-day basis. It gets features like cruise control, reverse mode, regenerative braking, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) and Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. Other features include a DIY mode which allows the rider to set throttle sensitivity and regen which can also be turned off completely. It also allows basic maintenance alerts to help the riders maintain their Ola Roadster X+.

Ride Modes

The Ola Roadster X+ gets 3 ride modes: Sports, Normal and Eco. The Eco mode offers the most efficiency with a significant drop in performance. The Normal mode offers a perfect balance between efficiency and performance while the Sport mode offers the maximum performance available. The Ola Roadster X+ also gets a reverse mode too for added convenience.

 

Safety Features

The Ola Roadster X+ also gets added safety features. It gets advanced features like geo fencing and time fencing along with theft detection which would definitely help in keeping your bike secured. It also gets in-built GPS, which in case of theft, can help the owners locate their Roadster X+ using the Ola Electric app.

Other Features

The Ola Roadster X+ gets an all LED light setup. It also gets a front disc brake and rear drum brake setup along with a single channel ABS. The Roaster X+ also gets a digital key unlock which can be enabled using the Ola Electric app.



The Ola Roadster X+ is available in two variants, 4.5kWh and 9.1kWh priced at Rs 1.04 lakh and Rs 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively. For the price the Ola Roadster X+ does offer a lot of features which would make it fun to ride and convenient to own.
