The camouflaged bike reveals the same silhouette as the existing Hero Hunk, but may get minor cosmetic upgrades and a re-tuned engine from the Xtreme Sports which makes more power

Hero MotoCorp may be planning to launch an upgraded Hero Hunk ahead of the festive season as a camouflaged Hunk has been caught testing on camera.

Like the Xtreme Sports, the new Hero Hunk may get a retuned engine for more power and some cosmetic upgrades, including new graphics.

The test bike sports the familiar Hunk logo on the fuel tank, but the headlight may be an upgraded one under the camouflage. Part of the body graphics are also seen, which may get an upgrade as well.

Overall, the bike retains the same silhouette but the engine may be re-tuned for higher power output. In all likelihood, the upgraded Hero Hunk will share its powerplant with the updated Hero Xtreme Sports re-tuned engine. The air-cooled 149.2cc four-stroke unit on the Xtreme Sports produces 15.7PS of power and 13.7Nm of torque.

Once launched, the new upgraded Hero Hunk will compete against the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ-S and the upcoming Honda Hornet 160.
