Gets the Atherstack 7 software
Ather has launched the 450X Overtones Series, with new colours and a more powerful charger, enhancing the scooter's daily usability without altering its core performance identity. Apart from that, the 450X remains mechanically unchanged and the new variant is priced from Rs 1,57,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).

Design and Colourway Refresh
The core silhouette of the Ather 450X remains unchanged mechanically. The Overtones update introduces three new colourways: Still White, Space Grey, and Lunar Grey. While we have seen the base colours before, which are quite plain and simple, it is the grey highlights and the splashes of bright colour on a few parts which add a nice contrast to the overall look of the scooter. That said, the new colours do cost a premium of Rs 1,000 over the base ex-showroom price of the scooter.

Faster Charging
Addressing a key aspect of EV ownership, Ather has introduced a new 900W charger. Ather claims the new charger reduces charging times by nearly 30 percent. Currently, the scooter (the 3.5kWh variant) charges from 0-100 percent in 5 hours and 15 minutes.

Atherstack 7 Safety Suite
The Atherstack 7 software platform, which was introduced a while back, brings a host of safety features. The list includes: CrashAlert, ParkSafe and LockSafe.
The software also introduces 'Voice on Ather'. This feature allows riders to use voice commands for navigation, locating charging stations, and controlling vehicle functions like display brightness. The feature is designed to work with Halo, Ather’s smart helmet.
ZigSays
The Ather 450X Overtones Series isn't a major overhaul, but it brings meaningful improvements. The new colour schemes make the scooter look more premium, while the faster 900W charger addresses one of the biggest pain points of EV ownership.
Add to that the Atherstack 7 software with its safety and convenience features, and the Rs 1,000 premium for the new colours seems well justified for buyers looking for a smarter and more feature-rich 450X.
