Top 5 Honda Bikes With Biggest Price Drop Due To GST Cuts

The Government of India’s new GST 2.0 rules will slash the tax rate on two-wheelers under 350cc from 28% to 18%. Honda, with its popular motorcycles in the 200-350cc range, has announced that it will pass on the full benefits of this tax revision to customers starting September 22, 2025. Here are the top 5 Honda motorcycles that will get the biggest price cuts after GST 2.0 takes effect, based on our internal calculations adjusting the new GST rates on the ex-factory prices. Do note that the final prices are all ex-showroom Delhi:

Honda CB350 

Expected Price Drop: Rs 17,106

Honda CB350 

At the top of the list is the CB350, which is set to get the highest price cut among Honda’s lineup. Currently priced at Rs 2,18,951 for the top variant, the bike will drop to around Rs 2,01,845, thanks to a reduction of over Rs 17,000. This will make the ‘Classic’ Honda even more attractive for riders looking for a blend of old-school charm, comfort and Japanese engineering.

Honda CB350RS 

Expected Price Drop: Rs 17,078

Honda CB350RS

The sportier sibling, the CB350RS, comes close behind with a price cut of about Rs 17,078. Its new ex-showroom price will be Rs 2,01,523 as compared to the current top variant’s Rs 2,18,601. With scrambler-inspired styling, dual-purpose tyres and tasteful colour schemes, the CB350RS is set to become one of the most value-packed options in the 350cc retro space.

Expected Price Drop: Rs 16,844

Honda CB350 H’ness 

The chrome-laden CB350 H’ness will also see a big price drop. The top end variant currently retails at Rs 2,15,601, and it will fall to around Rs 1,98,757 - making it nearly Rs 17,000 cheaper. For buyers who prefer a true retro vibe with premium chrome touches, this will be an even sweeter deal.

Honda NX200 

Expected Price Drop: Rs 13,250

Honda NX200 

Honda’s road-biased adventure bike, the NX200 will also benefit under GST 2.0. Currently priced at Rs 1,69,596, the ex-showroom tag will reduce to Rs 1,56,346, with a cut of Rs 13,250. For riders wanting a lightweight ADV-styled bike with a comfortable stance, this revision will make the NX200 even more accessible.

Apart from our calculations, it looks like Honda is going above and beyond! The savings claimed by the manufacturer is slightly higher than our GST savings calculation. Here’s here’s how much one will actually save post September 22, 2025:

While Honda hasn’t specifically mentioned about the CB300F in its statement, it may also gain from the tax reduction. With the ex-showroom price dropping from Rs 1,70,001 to about Rs 1,56,720, buyers will save Rs 13,281. Positioned as a streetfighter with Honda’s future-ready Flex Fuel compatibility, the CB300F becomes a more affordable entry into the premium 300cc segment.

So waiting till September 22, 2025 to get a Honda motorcycle is the right bet as you will be able to save a lot of money!
