Now You Can Book The Yamaha R3 & MT-03 At Indian Dealerships highlights

You can finally book the Yamaha R3 and MT-03 at Indian dealerships, albeit unofficially. The 300cc twin-cylinder bikes were showcased at a dealer event in India last week and are expected to be launched here by June-July 2023.

The booking amount and wait time varies depending on the dealerships and the city. While at some places you can book the supersport and naked at Rs 1,000, other dealerships will take as much as Rs 10,000. Even the waiting period for the two bikes ranges from one month to three months.

Both bikes are powered by a smooth 321cc, twin-cylinder engine that makes 42PS and 29.5Nm on the R3, and 29.6Nm on the MT-03. Underpinnings are the same on both – USD fork and linked monoshock suspension setup, along with a 298mm disc up front and a 202mm unit at the rear for braking.

While the prices for the 300cc bikes haven’t been officially revealed yet, we expect the R3 and MR-03 to come with a sticker price of around Rs 4 lakh and Rs 3.8 lakh ex-showroom. The R3 will rival the likes of RC 390 and Kawasaki Ninja 400, whereas the MT-03 will go up against the KTM 390 Duke and the Zontes 350R.
