[UPDATE: Hero has launched the Karizma XMR in India. It looks muscular, attractive and packs a punch! Check it out here]

Rumours around the Karizma’s comeback had been gaining steam and now, we're getting some details about it. Hero has filed two trademarks, disclosing the iconic Karizma's return and telling us about what the bike’s engine capacity could be.

The first trademark is for the Karizma XMR and the second trademark is Karizma XMR 210. What this clearly shows is that the upcoming Karizma will have a 210cc engine, reportedly liquid-cooled. The X series also makes sense given the marque already has the Xtreme and Xtec series bikes in its portfolio.

Our one and only hope is that Hero stylists aim to keep its design true to the OG Karizma and not jazz it up wrongly like they did with the Karizma ZMR. If it'll be an out and out track machine like the KTM RC 200 or more of a relaxed sport-tourer like the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is something that we'll have to keep an eye out for.
