Exclusive: Here Are All The Ways You Can Customise The C3 Hatchback

If you’ve read our Citroen C3 variants explained story, you might be a bit disappointed that the base-spec Live variant misses out on some key features. It lacks some of the distinctive visual cues, such as colourful exterior trim and skid plates, which are standard on the top-end Feel variant. But according to a new set of leaked images, the C3 will get numerous accessories and multiple packages to help you tailor it the way you want. 

Citroen C3 Customisation Packages: 

Convenience Pack: 

This package adds some essentials, such as mud flaps, a trunk mat and floor carpet mats. It also gets you a few creature comforts, such as a leather steering wheel cover, perfectly-shaped rear windshield blind, window sun blinds, neck pillows, seat cushions and even a seat belt cushion. 

Vibe Pack: 

The Citroen C3 is expected to start at Rs 5.5 lakh, at which it’ll offer a more spacious cabin and a better aesthetics than its competitors such as the Maruti Suzuki Swift. If that’s the variant for you, you can make it look like the car in the pictures with the Vibe Pack. It adds fog lights, orange fog light surrounds, side mouldings and orange surrounds for the reflector on the rear bumper. 

Elegance Pack: 

Some people like an extra helping of chrome on their cars. For them, Citroen will provide chrome trim on the front and rear bumpers and side moulding, chrome door handles, chrome window beltline and another shiny trim piece on the taillights. 

Energy Pack: 

The Energy Pack gets you front and rear skid plates, a roof spoiler, door visors on the windows and wheel arch cladding. 

Which accessories can I get for the Citroen C3?

Other than the trim packages, you can accessorise the C3 with a number of useful bits such as: 

• Bumper corner protectors

• A car cover 

• Engine guard

• Door edge and doorsill guards

• Dual-USB charger 

• Rear seat organiser 

• Jump starter 

• An air purifier

• Touchscreen guard 

• Emergency car tool 

In the base-spec C3, you can add a set of speakers and a 2-din audio system, in addition to essentials such as a parcel tray and alarm system. You can also get a rear camera harness to add an aftermarket reversing camera to the C3.

The Citroen C3 offers plenty of customisation options, but it remains to be seen how the carmaker will price these packs and accessories or the hatchback itself. The C3 will be launched on July 20. You’ll be able to book your own C3 from July 1 onwards.
