Citroen has announced the C3 Aircross SUV’s starting price as Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The 3-row Citroen SUV’s bookings are also now open for Rs 25,000 both online and at dealerships. The carmaker will start delivering the SUV from mid-October.

Prices for the Citroen C3 Aircross start at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the mid-spec Plus trim is priced between Rs 11.30 lakh and Rs 11.45 lakh. The top-spec trim is maxed out at Rs 12.1 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

Outside, the C3 Aircross features a sleek and modern appearance. At the front, it inherits the headlights and LED DRLs from the C3, flanking a larger grille. A minimalist bumper with skid plates completes the overall front, resembling a mini C5 Aircross. On the side, chunky cladding and large 17-inch alloy wheels contribute to its robust stance.

Inside, the resemblance with the C3 continues, bits where the C3 Aircross sets it apart from the hatchback is varied colour schemes on upholstery and distinct finishes on the dash. The C3 Aircross is available in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. Opting for the 7-seater version offers the flexibility of removable third-row seats, allowing you to create additional boot space as needed.

As for the powertrain, you only get the option of a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine putting out 110PS and 190Nm, that's only mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as of now. Claimed fuel efficiency figures are 18.5kmpl.

In the features department, the C3 Aircross offers features such as a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, manual air conditioning, steering-mounted audio controls, electronically adjustable ORVMs, and roof-mounted AC vents with adjustable blower speed for rear passengers.
The C3 Aircross comes equipped with dual front airbags, electronic stability control, and rear parking sensors complemented by a camera for added convenience and safety.

Citroen offers the C3 Aircross in three distinct trims : You, Plus, and Max.The car is offered in four monotone and six dual-tone options.
The Citroen C3 Aircross is set to compete with the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Grand Vitara. Additionally, it presents itself as a viable alternative to MPVs like the Maruti Ertiga, XL6, and Kia Carens.
