The Trophy Edition is exclusively available in two hues and with the 110 body style of the Defender! What makes it special? Let’s find out…

Land Rover has globally taken wraps off the Defender 110 Trophy Edition, which takes the Defender formula closer to its roots. It is inspired by the Trophy and Challenge events of the past, and with that, Land Rover has also launched the Defender Trophy challenge which is an International off-road competition. What is the competition about? And what do you get with the special Edition? Let’s find out…

Land Rover Defender 110 Trophy Edition

The Defender Trophy Edition is offered in two colour options: Deep Sandglow Yellow and Keswick Green. The exterior boasts off-road specific styling elements that clearly make the special edition look a lot different from the standard Defender 110.  The yellow shade pays tribute to the livery worn by Land Rover Defenders in the Camel Trophy; an off-road competition Land Rover supported and competed in for over 2 decades.

Both colours come with an optional Matte Protective Film which provides extra protection for when you decide to take the SUV off-road. The Trophy Edition sits on new Gloss Black 20-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres and comes with a dark rear scuff plate and gloss black protection for the wheelarch. Furthermore, it also sports a black front undershield, black finish on the roof and a black treatment on the hood as well to give a perfect dualtone feel.

Moreover, you also get a snorkel finished in… you guessed it right… black! Trophy-based decals on the bonnet and C-pillar graphic, plus Trophy rear badging, set the special edition model apart on the outside.

On the inside, the Trophy edition gets new Ebony Windsor Leather seats and illuminated sill plates for a premium touch. The dashboard features an exposed crossbeam which is finished in the same colour as the exterior.

Additional accessories include an expedition roof rack, a black deployable roof ladder, a gloss black side-mounted gear carrier, front and rear Mud Flaps; and a raised air intake for dust filtration.

Defender Trophy Competition: Not For The Faint-hearted

A competition which actually serves a greater purpose! The entrants for the Defender Trophy will come from more than 50 countries and will face obstacles and a selection of mental and physical challenges.

Early next year, regional finals will decide the national winners who will be sent to Africa for the global final in Autumn 2026.

Participants will be scored individually but compete in pairs, with the lowest-ranked competitor given the first pick of potential teammates ahead of each stage. Every stage will consist of a series of Driving Challenges, Ingenuity Challenges and Physical Challenges.

Each team’s progress will be shared with a global online audience. The winners of the global final will get the opportunity to leave a positive legacy with the people and places touched by the Defender Trophy by completing a unique Tusk conservation mission.

The participants should be fluent in English, over 23 years old, able to swim 50m, eligible to drive and travel internationally, and have an unwavering spirit.

In India, the Defender is a very popular luxury SUV, available across - multiple body sizes and seating configurations. It offers butch looks, and a modern cabin while having the capabilities of going anywhere. Prices for the Defender start from just over the Rs 1 crore mark, and it rivals the Jeep Wrangler and Mercedes-Benz G Wagon.
