TVS Motor Company has always been something of a Marvel fanboy, and this isn’t its first rodeo with superhero-inspired paint schemes. From Iron Man and Black Panther colours on the SSE (Super Squad Edition) variant of the Raider 125 to a Captain America-themed NTorq 125, the brand has been steadily strengthening its Marvel connection. Now it’s back at it again, and this time with two new Super Squad Edition (SSE) Raider 125s inspired by none other than fan favourites - Deadpool and Wolverine.

The two characters gained immense popularity when they were paired up in a movie that was released in July 2024. Come 2025, we now see the beloved characters on the Raider as well! While the Deadpool colour variant has a black base, the Wolverine has a grey one. Deadpool’s version flaunts his iconic mask on the tank along with the number ‘90’ on the side panel - a nod to the year 1990, when the character made its first full comic debut. The Wolverine edition, meanwhile, carries the number 74, marking the year 1974 when Logan first slashed his way into the Marvel universe.

Beyond the paint, all the colour variants including the new ones in the SSE range get the mild-hybrid (iGo Assist) tech that offers a little electric boost during acceleration for quicker response and improved efficiency. The SSE variant now also features TVS’ low-rpm assist (Glide Through Traffic or GTT) feature, making crawling through city jams far easier.
Underpinnings and prices are unchanged at Rs 99,465 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Summing up, while these colour schemes on the TVS Raider 125 look super cool, they may not heal like the characters do. What’s the point of stating this, you ask? Well, here’s a small tidbit: self-healing paints isn’t really science fiction as Kawasaki managed to implement it on the iconic Ninja H2, and even the Ninja H2 SX.
