The Tata Altroz is set to get a facelift on May 21, 2025, which will make the hatchback more appealing and premium. As confirmed by recent teasers, the updated model will come with enhanced exterior styling and a more upmarket cabin. So, if you are in the market for a premium hatchback, here are the top 5 things that the facelifted Altroz will get over the outgoing model.
3,2,1, let’s begin!
The teaser has confirmed some new styling elements for the Altroz facelift. Among them, the flush door handles really stand out, making the hatchback look more high-end while also giving the profile a cleaner look. Just like the Curvv, the flush door handles will have the illumination function.
As confirmed by the teaser, the Altroz facelift will come with connected LED tail lights. The connected setup will appeal to modern buyers who want the trendy new design elements that carmakers are offering. Apart from that, the front headlights also get a revision. To check out the exterior details, head over to this story.
Moving inside, the driver will now be getting a 10.25-inch digital display. This will not just make the cabin look more upmarket, but also provide more vital information and necessary details for the driver. The display will also have Google Maps integration for the driver to not have to rely solely on the centre screen.
Taking inspiration from the Nexon and Curvv, the Altroz facelift will also be getting Tata’s new two-spoke steering wheel, which comes with an illuminated Tata logo. The steering has a gloss black panel in the centre, which houses the logo and looks classy, but attracts dirt and fingerprints easily.
A feature that is already available with the Altroz Racer is expected to be launched with the Altroz facelift. If introduced, ventilated front seats would be available with the top-spec variants, adding an extra layer of cooling to tackle the hot conditions in most parts of India.
The Tata Altroz facelift is expected to be priced from Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom), a premium over the current-spec model, which is priced from Rs 6.65 lakh to Rs 11.30 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). It will compete with hatchbacks such as the Hyundai i20, Maruti Baleno, and Toyota Glanza.
While there won’t be a major jump in terms of features, because the pre-facelift model is also a very well-equipped hatchback, the premium styling and newer elements will definitely make the facelifted Altroz more desirable and relevant in the ever-competitive market.
