Tata Altroz Facelift Likely To Launch On This Date! Here's What Its First Official Teaser Has Revealed...

The Tata Altroz facelift has been teased for the first time  ahead of its likely launch on May 21, 2025. The multiple spy shots have already revealed that the facelifted Altroz will come with updated styling, making it look more modern than before. The teaser further confirms those updates, as well as reveals more details about the updated exterior. Moreover, the feature suite could likely be updated slightly, while the powertrains are expected to be the same. Exterior

As per the teaser, the exterior of the Altroz facelift has been tweaked to make it look more appealing. It has been revealed that the updated hatchback will get refreshed dual-pod headlights and eyebrow-style LED DRLs. It comes with sharper styling featuring a new grille with silver inserts for a nice contrast. Moreover, the fascia comes with more aggressive and sporty bumpers and revised fog lamps.  

The silhouette looks similar, however, it will come with newly designed alloy wheels, likely to be 16 inches in size. Taking inspiration from the Tata Curvv, it gets illuminated flush-type door handles to elevate the premiumness quotient. Similar to the outgoing model, the rear door handles will continue to be mounted on the C-pillar. The signature gold hue returns on the Altroz. 

The rear end of the Altroz facelift will come with connected LED tail lights and a reworked bumper. The reverse lights are now placed below the numberplate in the revised bumper. 

Interior And Features 

The interior of the Altroz facelift has not been revealed yet, but if you observe closely you can see a new beige upholstery and a slightly revised dashboard. It will likely come with a new two-spoke steering wheel with the illuminated logo, as seen in most new Tata cars. 

The Altroz is already a well-loaded car in terms of features, so we don’t expect it to come with many new ones. However, it could be offered with ventilated front seats and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, which is currently offered with the Altroz Racer. 

Features that will be carried over include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a single pane sunroof, a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control with rear vents, and an 8-speaker sound system. 

Safety features will include 6 airbags (as standard), ISOFIX child-seat anchorages, a 360-degree camera, and rear parking sensors.

Powertrain 

The Altroz facelift is expected to come with the same powertrain options:

Price And Rivals

The Tata Altroz facelift is likely to be priced from Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom), a minor premium over the current-spec model, which is priced from Rs 6.65 lakh to Rs 11.30 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). It will compete with hatchbacks such as the Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Toyota Glanza.
