Tata Altroz facelift interior teased ahead of launch
Gets a tweaked dashboard design, and new upholstery
Comes with a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and a new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo
Powertrain options are expected to be the same as the outgoing model
Expected to be priced from Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom)
Tata has shared another teaser of the Altroz facelift, just days before its awaited launch on May 21, 2025. The last teaser revealed the exterior details, and this time, Tata has showcased the updated hatchback’s interior and some new features that it will be getting. So, if you are in the market looking for a well-rounded hatchback, here are all the confirmed and expected details of the Altroz facelift:
Tata has slightly redesigned the dashboard, which now features a neater and more premium look. The AC vents have been made sleeker, and you get a nice strip of ambient lighting running across the width of the dashboard. The facelifted hatchback sports a new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo in the centre, something that we have seen on Tata cars like the Nexon and Curvv.

The climate control panel is now touch-based, and it also gets a new gear lever in the automatic variant. Tata has also updated the seats of the Altroz, giving it a new theme and a more premium look.

The driver now gets a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, which complements well with the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre. The digital instrument cluster is capable of projecting Google Maps as well, so the driver to not depend on the centre screen alone.

It gets a single-pane sunroof, which can be adjusted using voice commands. Furthermore, you get a 360-degree camera to assist while parking and manoeuvring through narrow spaces.

Other features will likely include a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control with rear vents, cruise control and an 8-speaker sound system. Safety features will include 6 airbags (as standard), ISOFIX child-seat anchorages, and rear parking sensors.
Tata also recently revealed the exterior of the Altroz facelift. Head over to this story: Tata Altroz Facelift Exterior Details Revealed!

While the Altroz iCNG is currently only available in the MT spec, we may see a iCNG + AMT combo, which we have seen on the Tiago and Tigor iCNG. Moreover, it is possible to see an automatic in the Diesel spec, carried over from the Nexon.

The Tata Altroz facelift is expected to be priced from Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom), a small premium over the current-spec model, which is priced from Rs 6.65 lakh to Rs 11.30 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue its rivalry with hatchbacks such as the Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Toyota Glanza.
The Altroz in its facelifted avatar becomes a more well-packaged hatchback, focusing on premium appeal in its segment. The updates to the exterior and interior look exciting in the teaser, but time will tell how the revised styling looks in person.
So, stay tuned if you have shortlisted the Altroz or are considering buying a hatchback. Till then, let us know your first few impressions of the Altroz facelift based on the teasers.
